When you run the Microsoft Outlook Integration add-on in a company database for the first time, or when you update from a previous version, the system prompts you to install or update default templates for snapshots:

  • For a new installation: The system recommends installing templates in the current language.

  • For an upgrade: The system recommends upgrading templates in all languages for which you installed templates in the previous version. However, you can change the suggested selections to meet your individual requirements.

You can also install default templates in additional languages at a later time. You can access the corresponding window from SAP Business One.

Prerequisites

You have installed the default layout files for snapshots on your SAP Business One server using the Add-On Server Installer. For more information, see the add-on installation guide on the CD for SAP Business One add-ons.

Procedure

  1. If the Create Default Templates window does not appear automatically, access the window in this way:

    1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Administration   Outlook Integration   Define Snapshot Templates  .

    2. In the SAP Business One menu bar, choose   Goto   Create Default Templates  .

  2. In the Source Folder of Default Layout Files (Server) field, check whether the path displayed is appropriate. Click to select a different path.

  3. In the Destination Folder (Company's Layout File Directory) field, check whether the path displayed is appropriate. If not, enter a new path manually or click to select a different path.

    If you entered a destination folder that does not yet exist, select Create Directory if it does not exist.

  4. If you want the system to notify you that it is about to replace an existing version of the snapshot templates (including the layout files and user queries), select Prompt before overwriting existing templates.

  5. In the Incl. column of the Available to Install table, select the language versions that you want to install.

    If you had already selected a language version in the Defining Snapshot Templates window and the system detects that either no default templates are installed in this language or the templates are out of date, the corresponding row in the Incl. column is automatically selected.

  6. To start installation, choose the Create button.

Result

The language of the installed default layout files appears in the Installed table.
