Rollup
You use rollup to aggregate financial or capacity data in certain views from objects below a bucket or initiative to the bucket or initiative.
When data is rolled up to a bucket or initiative, this aggregated data is read-only in the respective bucket or initiative view.
Note
If items or initiatives are assigned to classification hierarchies, you enter percentage values that define how data is rolled up to the buckets within the classification hierarchies. The distribution percentage values apply to all groups that are maintained in the planning, but you can overwrite
them for a certain group or view using the BAdI: Modification of Classification Rollup Factor
in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management

To use rollup for buckets or initiatives, you choose Rollup
in the Bucket Process
and Initiative Process
fields respectively.
When you define bucket rollup, you can make the following settings:
Bucket Rollup Source
You can choose the objects for rollup. The following options are available:
only initiatives and standalone items (that is, items not assigned to an initiative)
only items within an initiative and standalone items
Bucket Rollup Source Filter
You can filter the items that are rolled up based on their approval statuses. That is, you can choose to roll up:
all items regardless of approval status
approved items only
proposal items only
You make this setting in the Bucket/Initiative Rollup Source Filter
field.
When you define initiative rollup, data from items within the initiative is aggregated. You can filter the items that are rolled up based on their approval statuses. That is, you can choose to rollup:
all items regardless of approval status
approved items only
proposal items only
