The resource sub views Role Overview and Role Staffing give you a quick overview of the current project.

Prerequisites

You are in the Resources view. You have activated and created an implementation of the BAdI DPR_RES_OVERVIEW. With the BAdI method SET_VISIBLE_RESOURCE_VIEWS, you can activate the corresponding resource sub views. By default, the Role Overview and Role Staffing sub views are not active.

Features

Role Overview

This view provides an overview of all existing roles in the current project. You can also display the following information about the roles:

  • Type of role and name

  • Status of the role

  • Whether the role has already been staffed and if so, which resource staffed the role

  • Demand of the role

  • How much of the capacity is already covered by a resource

  • Validity period of the role

  • Calculated start date and finish date

  • Function

  • Area and location

  • Urgency

  • Vacant checkbox

Role Staffing subview

This view provides an overview of whether all roles are fully staffed with resources and the resources with which the roles have been staffed. You can also display the following information about the roles:

  • Whether the resources have been reserved for the role or whether they are already assigned to the role

  • The work assigned to the role (through tasks)

  • The period for which the role is staffed with the resource

  • Assigned effort (resulting from the staffing of the role with a resource)

  • Validity period of the role

  • Notes about the staffing

  • Status

  • Type of resource

  • Name of resource

  • Name and number of role

  • Text for role type

  • Vacant checkbox

Activities

Select the view you require from the View list box.
