Version Creation (Administration)
You use this function to create versions of all portfolio items or portfolio initiatives in a given portfolio or bucket simultaneously.

In the Portfolio and Project Administration
area, you open a portfolio or bucket.
To start the version creation for all included items or initiatives, in the Portfolio Details
or Bucket Details
view, you choose You can also
and select Create Version of All
Items
or Create Version of All Initiatives
.
The system creates a version of all items or initiatives of all lowest level buckets asynchronously in the background.
You can display any messages that the system raises during the process, by choosing the Analyse Application Log
(transaction SLG1) in the connected back-end system: Enter RPM_VERSIONING in the Object
field,
select a timeframe in the Time Restriction
area, and choose Execute (F8)

Note
Depending on the number of items or initiatives in the portfolio or bucket, the version creation process can take some time and can impact the performance of the system.
