You can use this process to define dependencies between portfolio items with different dependency types. This allows you to get an overview of important items that have dependencies between each other.

Prerequisites

You have created items.

Process

  1. As the project manager, you create a new dependency.

  2. You define which item depends on the current item and the item(s) on which the current item depends, by entering the required data.

  3. On the Dependency Details screen, you can see an overview of all dependent items. For more information, see Dependency Details.

  4. You can display detailed information about the dependencies for each item.

Result

You have an overview of items that have dependencies between each other.
