Scheduler Times 

Use

Scheduler tasks are carried out at defined times. Each entry specifies the date and/or time at which the task is to be executed.

 

Integration

The scheduler service compares the current time with the times in the definitions of scheduler tasks. If they match, the relevant scheduler task is started.

 

Features

The following data and time specifications are available when configuring a time.

Time Parameters

Parameters	Required	Description
ID	Yes	Unique name of time.
Day of Month	No	Specifies a day of the month. Possible values: 1 – 31.
Day of Week	No	Specifies a day of the week. Possible values are Monday to Sunday.
Hour	No	Specifies an hour. Possible values are 1 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Minute	No	Specifies a minute. Possible values are 0 – 59.
Month	No	Specifies the month. Possible values are January to December.
Time Zone	No	Specifies a time zone. If you specify no time zone, the time zone of the cluster node is used automatically.
Week of Month	No	Specifies a week of the month. Possible values are 1 – 5.
Year	No	Specifies a year.

 

If you do not specify a date or time, a task to which this schedule is assigned is executed every minute.

 

Activities

To create a time, choose Content Management ® Global Services ® Scheduler Times.

The select this time in the configuration of a scheduler task.

 

Example

You want a scheduler task to start every Tuesday at 9.55 a.m.  Configure the time as follows:
