Use

The file system mount service enables documents that are stored on the disk drives of a Windows remote system to be integrated in Knowledge Management using the repository managers.

 

Integration

This service is used by the file system repository manager and the CM repository manager.

Access to a Windows remote system takes place using logon information that is defined in the definition of a network path.
