Loss Prevention Analytics: Analysis Tools
Loss Prevention Analytics (LPA) provides a two-step process to identify critical POS transactions. In the first step, transactions that correspond to pre-defined patterns are identified amongst all the POS transactions stored by SAP POS Data Management (SAP POS DM). You can define patterns on the basis of pattern templates included with LPA.
The second step of the process provides the analysis of these critical POS transactions. The analysis takes place using SAP Loss Prevention Analytics BW reports, using which you can navigate up to transaction level. For more information, see .
In the transaction viewer function, you can display additional and more detailed information for one of these critical POS transactions.
The journal viewer is an enhancement for the transaction viewer (TAV) function, using which you can display all previous and subsequent transactions for the critical POS transaction.
This new and more detailed information gives you a better basis for deciding on possible follow-up actions.
