Creating and Executing Anonymous Inspections

1. Choose Create or Change without entering a name for the inspection.

If you enter a name and choose Create, the inspection and its result will be stored.
For more information, see Persistent Inspections.
The Inspection screen appears.
2. In the Object Selection screen area, choose the objects to be checked.
You can choose between a predefined object set, a transport request, or a single object.

The object set or the transport request you have chosen must contain no more than 50 single objects.
3. In the Check Variant screen area, select Predefined or Temporary Definition.
a. If you have selected the Predefined check variant, you can choose whether it is locally or globally visible.
b. If you have chosen Temporary Definition for the check variant, you can select the checkboxes of the checks you want to perform from the displayed tree.
4. Choose Execute.
The system executes the inspection on the local application server and automatically displays the results in a tree.
● To see the individual results, choose the appropriate node of the tree.
You see the test name, error, warning, and information messages.
● To navigate to the checked object, double-click on the message.

To see details of
the individual results, choose
with the
quick info text Documentation.
● You can sort and filter the displayed results.
●
To see a list of
all messages, choose
with the quick info text Result list.
●
You can change the
inspection and execute it again by choosing
with the
quick info text Repeat.
The results are not stored. If you go to another screen, the results will be lost.
