Adapter-Specific Security Configuration 

This section describes security-relevant aspects of adapters. Each adapter is configured by an adapter-specific configuration for both the inbound (sender) side (scenario (s3) in Service Users for Message Exchange) and the outbound (receiver) side (scenario (r3) in Service Users for Message Exchange). You make these configuration settings in a sender agreement for the inbound side and a receiver agreement for the outbound side, together with adapter-specific channels referenced in the agreements.

Security has to be configured for the following types of adapters:

●      Adapters running on the Integration Server

●      Adapters running in the Advanced Adapter Engine

●      Adapters running in the Adapter Engine (Java SE)
