Procedure documentationAdding Collections to the Buffer Locate this document in the navigation structure

When selecting collections or working with the statistics display, you can add collections to the buffer.

You can then easily reuse this selection, when calling up a worklist or making a new assignment of collections to another translator, without having to make the same selection again.

Procedure

From the Statistics Display

  1. Expand the statistics display so that you can see the collection names.

    • To select one collection, choose the icon next to the collection name.

The whole line for this collection should now be highlighted.

    • To select a block of collections, hold down the SHIFT key, choose the icon next to the first collection in the block, and then choose the icon next to the last collection in the block.

    • To select multiple collections, hold down the CTRL key, then choose the icon next to each collection that you want to add to the buffer.

  2. Choose Add to Buffer (Add to Buffer).

The success message Selected collections were added to the buffer appears.

From the Collections Dialog Box

  1. Select the collections that you want to add to the buffer.

  2. Under Export, choose the Buffer pushbutton.

The number of selected collections that you added to the buffer is now displayed next to the Buffer pushbutton under Selection Basis.

Result

The next time you access the Collections dialog box, you can choose one of the selection functions (e.g. Choose, Insert Rows (Insert Rows), Delete Rows (Delete Rows), Intersection AB (Intersection AB)) next to Buffer under Selection Basis to make use of the selection of collections that you added to the buffer.

For more information, see Selecting Collections.

Caution Caution

This selection is only available in the buffer while you are logged on to the system.

As soon as you log off, this selection of collections is removed from the buffer, and you have to perform it again the next time you log on to the system.

End of the caution.
