Procedure documentation Tracking Synchronization Statistics  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You must track synchronization statistics to identify:

·        Devices that are taking a considerable amount of time to complete their synchronization activity. To do this, you can check the synchronization duration across the client, Data Orchestration Engine (DOE), and network and identify the phase where the duration is high.

·        Devices that have exceeded the configured value of the number of days they can work without synchronizing with the DOE.

·        The time of day when maximum and minimum number of synchronizations occur.

You can then analyze the statistics and perform the necessary follow-up activities. For example, a device has exceeded the configured value of the number of days it can continue to work without synchronizing with the DOE. In this case, you can send an alert to the user of the device or block the extract for that particular device.

Prerequisites

·        You have scheduled a background job to aggregate the statistics on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

·        You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.
