Testing Mobile Scenario 

Purpose

In this process, the entire scenario is tested using the developed mobile application. The developers create a client device for testing and debugging this scenario.

Prerequisites

You have completed the processes Defining Back-End Interface, Defining Data Model and Data Distribution Logic, and Developing Mobile Components.

Process Flow

The following IT process runs in the usage type Mobile.

The functional units of this process are SAPNetWeaver Developer Studio, SAPNetWeaver Mobile client, Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) and SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

       1.      Create and enable device for test purposes.

       2.      Execute initial load of consolidated data store and device queue.

In this step, the data from the back end is transferred to consolidated data store and to the device queue.

       3.      Enable mobile client.

       4.      Synchronize application data.

       5.      Test and debug mobile scenario.
