Overview of the Type Properties
When interface elements are visualized, some of the technical type properties (data type, possibly the number of places and the decimal places) and, if the type is defined by a Dictionary type, the other type properties defined there, such as language-dependent texts, are automatically defined.
The programming model is kept as flexible as possible by not automatically copying all the type properties. Instead, there are ways to explicitly define type properties and to copy the corresponding settings. These settings are made with a
service object for the runtime object. This ensures a standardized visualization as well as the flexibility provided by individual visualization.Overview of the Type Properties and How They are Handled
