SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search supports searches in BW metadata. To enable search results from an SAP NetWeaver BW system to be returned on the Search UI, you connect the BW metadata repository that you want to search to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search.

Prerequisites

  • SAP Business Warehouse 7.0 SPS 14 or higher (SAPKW70014)

  • SSO is configured between SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search and the BW system.

  • The search engine must be fully installed in the BW system and the metadata must be indexed

Required Information

To connect a BW system to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search, you require the following information:

  • SAP system ID of the BW system that you want to connect to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search

  • Client of the BW system that you want to connect to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search

  • System number of the BW system that you want to connect to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search

  • Host name of the application host
