The version history is useful when multiple users update the database. It allows you to track the history of the updates and also allows you to compare versions of rulesets or flow rulesets. When you select the version history menu option, all the versions of the ruleset available in the repository get displayed on the right side of the screen. Using this, users can compare different versions of the ruleset.

Procedure

  1. In the Rules Navigator view, expand the project node and select the ruleset or flow ruleset.

The ruleset or flow ruleset overview page opens in the editor window.

  2. In the context menu of the ruleset or the flow ruleset, choose Version History.

The version history of the ruleset or the flow ruleset opens in the editor window.

    Note Note

    1. You can compare versions of the rulesets or flow rulesets using the Compare With option.

    2. In the editor window, you can select a version of a ruleset and choose the Activate button to activate a version of a ruleset in the rules manager. The row highlighted in green is the active version of the ruleset. You need authorization to activate versions of ruleset. For more information on authorization, see Setting a Role to Approve a Ruleset.

    End of the note.
