Creating Workcenter Roles 
You can create workcenter roles from scratch, directly from a folder in the Portal Catalog. You can then open the “empty” role and add the content of the Overview and other second-level navigation entries that you require for the role.

In the Portal Catalog, in the context menu of the folder to contain the role, choose . The New Workcenter Role wizard appears.
Specify the Role Name and other defining properties and complete the wizard.
To define the content for the role, in the What’s Next step, choose Content and Structure in the Edit list. For more information about creating content, see Adding and Editing Content in Workcenter Roles.
