Procedure documentationAdding Non-Voice Entities to a Voice Model Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

This is an optional procedure that you only use if you want to use enterprise data in your voice applications. Non-voice entities include BAPIs and Web services.

Prerequisites

  • You have ensured that your administrator has configured the following:

    • Required RFC destinations to access BAPIs

    • Physical destinations to access Web services

  • You have the details of non-voice entities such as:

    • Name of the non-voice entities

    • System where non-voice entities are located

    • Input values that the non-voice entity accepts

    • Output values that the non-voice entity returns

  • You have created a voice model

In addition, ensure that the voice model to which you want to add non-voice entities is open in the Visual Composer.

Procedure

  1. From the task panel toolbar choose Search

  2. In the Search task panel, perform the following steps:

    • In the Search in field, enter the name of the system where the non voice entities are located

    • In the Search for field, enter the name of the BAPI or Web Service or the voice component name that you want to use in your voice model

    • In the Type dropdown list, choose the type of the non-voice entity.

      For example: bapi/RFC or WSDL or Model

    • Choose the Search button

  3. From the search Results, drag the non-voice entity and drop it onto the workspace
