This procedure guides you through the process of creating a voice model and assigning it to a software component and a development component. By doing so, you can locate voice applications like any other Java applications in the SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java.
Ensure that the administrator has:
Set up the system landscape
Installed SAP NetWeaver Voice in the system landscape
Performed the configuration activities in the system landscape
In addition, you have to launch the Visual Composer using the URL http://<IP address>:<Port number>/VC/freestyle.jsp.
Choose Model →New.
From the Model Type list, choose Voice Application.
In the Name field, enter the name of the voice application.
From the Repository dropdown list, choose
Local Repository if you do not want to share your voice models
Shared Repository if you want to share your voice models
In the Software component field, choose sap.com_UWSoftwareComponent.
Note
SAP NetWeaver Voice currently only supports the sap.com_UWSoftwareComponent component.
From the Development component dropdown list, choose from the list of existing development components (DCs) or, if you want to create a new development component, choose New and perform the following steps:
From the Master Language dropdown list, do not select the source language to be used in the components stored in the development component.
Note
Voice applications do not have GUI with labels and text and hence the Master Language selection is not supported.
In the Development component field, enter the name of the new development component.
Choose OK.
Note
You can create only one voice application in a DC.
Choose OK
