Procedure documentationCopying a Decision Table Locate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

  1. Locate the ruleset (Where is my ruleset?) and double-click the ruleset node.

  2. In the Outline view, in the context menu of the decision table node, choose Copy.

  3. In the context menu of any node in the same ruleset or another ruleset, choose Paste.

Note Note

  • You cannot copy and paste decision tables across DCs. You can copy a decision table from one ruleset to another ruleset in the same DC.

  • When you make copies of a decision table in a single ruleset, you can identify the copied version of the decision table using prefix Copy of. For instance when you copy and paste a decision table called “DiscountTable” in a single ruleset, “Copy of DiscountTable” gets created.

  • If the decision table you copy uses definitions, then the definitions are also copied if you copy and paste the decision table within a single ruleset.

  • If you copy paste a decision table from one ruleset to another ruleset, then you must create the required definitions in the target ruleset.

End of the note.
