Procedure documentationChecking In a Model Locate this document in the navigation structure

After modifying a model that is stored in the source control system, you check it in. Checking a model into the source control system enables version control on the model (when working with DTR) and allows other users to edit the model. When working with the DTR, each time the model is subsequently checked in, a new version of the model is stored.

Note Note

To check in a model residing in the local repository, you need to add the relevant development component to the source control system. When you do this, all models in the development component are automatically checked in to the source control system. For more information, see Adding a Development Component or a Model to Source Control.

End of the note.

Prerequisites

You have checked out the model and it is currently the active model in Storyboard.

Procedure

  1. Choose   Source Control   Check In  .

  2. Click Yes to the displayed prompt. The model tab now indicates that it is in read-only mode because it is checked in, and the model icon is changed in the Manage Models task panel.

Result

The model is checked in and can now be checked out and modified by other users.
