Additional Manual Configuration 

Use

In addition to the wizard-based basic configuration, you can perform the following optional configuration steps using Java system properties specific to the ES Repository:

●      Configuring the Change Management Service (CMS)

●      Defining CMS communication users

●      Activating data-dependent authorization checks

●      Configuring secure communication with the WebStart client

●      Connecting to the SAP Solution Composer

●      Configuring the ES Repository documentation editor

Procedure

You use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator to access the ES Repository system properties.

       1.      Start your SAP NetWeaver Administrator and choose Configuration Management → Infrastructure → Java System Properties.

       2.      Select the zero admin template for the ES Repository.

Do not select an individual instance because any property changes would then be valid for this server instance only and not for the entire cluster.

       3.      Under Details, choose the Applications tab page.

       4.      Search for the application com.sap.xi.repository and select it.

       5.      Under Extended Details, search for the properties required for the configuration task you want to perform (follow the hyperlinks above for more information).
