Deleting an If-Then RuleLocate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure
  1. Locate the ruleset , expand the ruleset node, the Rules folder and in the context menu of a rule node, choose Delete .

    Locate the flow ruleset , expand the flow ruleset node, the Rules folder and in the context menu of a rule node, choose Delete .

  2. In the dialog box that appears, choose Yes .

Note
  • You cannot delete an if-then rule if it is being used as a precondition in an another If-Then rule

  • You can also deactivate an if-then rule if you do not want to delete it. Deactivating a rule indicates that the action of the rule will not be fired, though the rule will be evaluated by the engine in debugging sessions as the rule is still part of the RETE network creation
