Configuring Filter IDs for Mobile DesktopsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You are assigned the System Admin role

Context

Portal on device comes with the following portal desktops: Smartphone Portal Desktop and Tablet Portal Desktop , configured with the following filter ID values: com.sap.portal.smartphone and com.sap.portal.tablet , respectively. You can change the filter ID values, or add additional values.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step System Configuration Next navigation step Portal Display Next navigation step Desktops & Display Rules End of the navigation path.
  2. In the Portal Catalog, select Start of the navigation path Portal Content Next navigation step Portal Users Next navigation step Standard Portal Users End of the navigation path and select Smartphone Framework Content or Tablet Framework Content .
  3. From the context menu of the required portal desktop: Smartphone Portal Desktop or Tablet Portal Desktop select Start of the navigation path Open Next navigation step Properties End of the navigation path.
  4. Specify one or more values for the Filter ID property.
  5. Choose Save .
