Excluding Individual Documents From Indexing
Irrespective of the value of the indexOnlyProperties property, the system always takes into account the properties of a document during indexing and classification.
However, you can exclude a specific document from indexing by creating the index-content custom property for the document in the Details dialog box. Enter the value false . If index-content = false , the crawler searches the document for links, but does not pass it on to TREX for indexing.
For Index Management Crawler , the Respect the 'index-content' Property parameter is activated by default for this.
For more information, see Crawlers and Crawler Parameters .
Excluding Document Content From Indexing or Classification

To use the user interface to assign the property to documents, you must add the indexOnlyProperties property to the property structure of the Details dialog box. You then assign the property value required to a document.
