Properties in the Details Dialog Box

Use

You can display various information (such as the creation or change date) on a file, folder, or link in the left-hand side of the Details dialog box for the object in question. This information is stored in the system in the form of properties.

Features

Several different properties that are displayed in the left-hand side of the Details dialog box are contained in the standard delivery.

The configuration of a property includes the following parameters:

Parameters of the Properties in the Details Dialog Box

Parameters	Required	Description
Alias	Yes	Alias of the property.
Description	No	Description of the property.
Active	No	Specifies whether the property is displayed in the left-hand side of the Details dialog box.
Java Class	Yes	Specifies the Java class that implements the property.

In order to display an existing property structure in the left area of the Details dialog, you must reference an existing property structure in a details property structure.

Note

The elements of the selected property structure are displayed in the left area of the Details dialogs one under the other.

Parameters of a Details Property Structure

Parameters	Required	Description
Alias	Yes	Alias of the Details property structure.
Description	No	Description of the Details property structure.
Active	No	Specifies whether the Details property structure is displayed in the left-hand side of the Details dialog box.
Property Structure	No	Specifies an existing property structure (see Property Structures )

Activities

You can find an overview of the properties that are displayed in the left-hand side of the Details dialog box under Content Management → User Interface → Details Properties → Details Property. You can change the configuration of existing properties or create new properties that are based on separate JAVA classes.

To create a Details property structure, choose Content Management → User Interface → Details Properties → Details Property Structure.
