
Each object type that you translate using SAP translation tools has its own ID.
For example, the short text object type messages in ABAP systems has the ID MESS .
The two- to four-character IDs have the following uses:
You can use the IDs to access objects directly for translation in transaction SE63, that is without using a worklist. For more information, see Translating Objects Directly .
The IDs are displayed in front of each object type in the worklist. For more information, see Worklists .
The IDs are displayed when you expand the object type nodes in the statistics.

To view a complete list of the object type IDs in your translation system:
Call transaction LXE_MASTER.
On the Langs tab page, choose Object Types .
The Target Language dialog box appears.
Select a target language with a double-click.
This takes you to the Object Types dialog box.
Choose the icon with the Select Object Types quick info.
The system displays a list of all the object types in your translation system, together with their IDs.
