
In Broadcasting Administration(transaction RSRD_ADMIN), you can search for broadcast settings and their schedules using various criteria. You can edit the settings and delete any of them that are no longer needed. You can also search for and display log entries for error analysis.
Calling the Administration Environment
In the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction RSA1), choose Administration → Broadcasting, or call transaction RSRD_ADMINdirectly. Broadcasting Administration appears.
Displaying, Editing, and Deleting Broadcast Settings
By choosing Mass Access → Settings, you can use various criteria to select broadcast settings for which the properties are displayed in a list. Examples of criteria are the technical name, description, last changed by, changed at, object type [query, query view, report, Web template, or workbook], distribution type, or output format. You can then select the broadcast settings in the list and manage them as follows:
Finding, Displaying, and Deleting Schedules of Broadcast Settings
By choosing Mass Access → Schedules, you can search for and display schedules of broadcast settings using various criteria. Examples of criteria are the technical name of the broadcast setting, the time and date on which it was created, the time and date of the last schedule, and the type of schedule. You can use the type of schedule to find, for example, all the schedules that were generated at a given time or on a given date, when data was changed in the InfoProvider, or as a background job as a result of direct scheduling. The corresponding schedules are displayed in a list. You can select the schedules and work with the following functions:
Displaying Logs
By choosing Mass Access → Log Display, you can display logs produced in broadcasting; you can restrict the display to logs for particular periods and users. You can use this to analyze errors, for example.
Reorganizing Bookmarks
You can reorganize the bookmarks that were created implicitly in broadcasting by choosing Reorganization → Bookmarks.
