Use

The Failed Components function enables you to view all failed applications and services.

Prerequisites

You have started SAP NetWeaver Administrator and use the System Overview application.

Procedure

Managing Failed Applications

To view the number of all failed applications, choose the Applications function. Restart the relevant application. If restarting does not take effect, proceed as following:

  1. Go to View Failed Applications from the context menu.

  2. Choose a certain failed application from the table within the Application List area.

  3. Go to the Details About <> screen area and choose Modules .

  4. Select a module an then, from Related Tasks choose View Module Details .

  5. Choose the Context tab.

  6. Select the Activate URL Session Tracking (locally defined) checkbox and choose Save .

Managing Failed Services

  1. To view all failed services, choose the Services function and go to View Failed Services from the context menu

  2. To start the service you want, select it from the table in the Services area and choose Start .
