Use

Technical systems are application systems that are installed in your system landscape. If configured, they automatically register information in the SLD about most of the elements that they contain by using the SLD data supplier. If your system is not able to register data in your SLD, then you have to register these missing technical system elements manually. Also, you might have to register manually installed products on a technical system if they are not reported to SLD automatically.

Procedure

Creating New AS ABAP Technical Systems

AS ABAP technical systems are normally registered in the SLD server automatically. If automatic registration is not possible, you have to create the new AS ABAP technical systems manually.

Creating New AS Java Technical Systems

AS Java technical systems are normally registered in the SLD server automatically. If automatic registration is not possible, you have to create the new AS Java technical systems manually.

Standalone technical systems are not registered in the SLD server automatically. You have to register them manually.
