You can position PIC tags on the image and configure the same for threshold values, colors, icons, graphics, and mapped values. For details on configuration, see Configuring Tag Display in the Activities section in Plant Information Catalog (PIC).

To display the tag in trend mode, choose Trend Mode (Trend Mode). You can configure additional query and display parameters. For details, see the following:

  • Configuring Display Templates in the Activities section of Display Templates.

  • Configuring Query Templates in the Activities section of Query Templates.

Additionally, you can also view the tag as a gauge chart by choosing Gauge in Show As field. You can do the following:

  • Configure the query parameters. For more details, see the Activities section in Queries on an Image.

  • Re-size the gauge chart

  • Drag and place the gauge chart anywhere on the image

  • Move the tag to an empty cell

  • You can do the following from the context menu of the gauge chart:

    • Configure display properties. For more information, see the section Configuring Display Parameters in the Activities section of Display Templates

    • Display the gauge chart as a tag

    • Delete the gauge chart or the tag

The source code generated for the gauge chart has display as Gauge whereas for the tag the display has Value.
