You can display screens that show different views of the data while you interact with the SPC chart and other views in the application. When you select points on the SPC chart, the screens are updated to show information specific to those points. If additional characteristics are returned by the data query, you can display them for each point to add context to the view.

You can suppress, or exclude, points from the calculations. You can also enter comments about data points and store the comments in a database. The system suppresses points and stores comments based on the SPC chart type and the unique data point identifier. The unique point identifiers must be present in the query template used to populate the chart.
