Classes and Characteristic Values 
The classification system allows you to use characteristics to describe documents according to criteria that you define, and to group similar documents together in classes. The classification data is displayed on the Classes tab page. The Characteristic Values tab page displays the characteristics of the classes that you assign to your document on the Classes tab page.
Features
Integration of the classification system enables you to assign keywords to a document, which makes it easier to search for documents. In addition, multiple classifications are supported for documents. This means that you can allocate a document to more than one class of a specific class type.
