You can use markups to enter comments and remarks for the displayed original application file. This information is saved in a layer.
General redlining functions are for processing both 2D files and 3D models. Certain functions work only for one format or the other.
You display the original application file with the integrated viewer in the standard system. You selected the Redlining function in the viewer function bar (
). The screen area of the viewer displays the redlining function bar.This bar contains all functions you can use to create, change, and delete markup objects for the original application files.

Before you create the markup objects you must determine the settings for the layout; such as lines, framing, and text formats.
Click on ( ) and the dialog box Personal Settings appears.
Select the markup function by clicking on the desired function in the redlining function bar.
