 Creating a Selection List Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

This function enables you to select materials based on selection criteria. If you want to create a selection list with only a few materials, you can use the function Edit Selection List . That function allows you to enter individual materials.

Procedure

  1. Choose   Accounting   Controlling   Product Cost Controlling   Product Cost Planning   Material Costing   Costing Run   Selection List   Create   .

  2. Enter the criteria for selection of materials.

  3. Enter a name for the selection list and a short description.

  4. Choose ( ) with quick info text Execute .

The system displays a list with the selected materials. Here you can remove individual materials from the selection list by deselecting them.

  1. Choose ( ) with quick info text Save .

Result

The selection list is now available for costing runs.

You can edit the selection list, such as by copying it or adding additional materials. For more information, see Editing a Selection List .
