You use this activity to edit existing inventory ID records (see Inventory ID).

It also sends core messages to SAP ERP if the floor stock material has been automatically received from SAP ERP (see Transfer of Inventory Return and Component Scrap Data).

Prerequisites

You have created inventory IDs in Inventory Receipt if the SAP ME ERP integration is not used (see Inventory Receipt).

Activity Rules

The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

Rule

Setting

ALLOW_UPDATE_QTY_ON_HAND

YES (default): Indicates that entry in the Qty on Hand field can be edited

NO: Indicates that entry in the Qty on Hand field cannot be edited

COMMENT_REQ

YES (default): The user is required to enter a comment in the Comment field

NO: Comments are optional

INVENTORY_LOCATION_REQ

NO (default): Providing location details for each inventory ID is optional

YES: The user is required to provide location details for each inventory ID

LABEL_DOCUMENT

You can specify which document or label to print without using any other activity IDs.

Blank (default): Disables printing

User-defined: Prints documents created in a third-party printing package that the user has set up

User can enter one or more names of documents defined in Document Maintenance (see Document Maintenance)

Label: Prints the LABEL document that comes with the system
