Assign NC to Component

Defines whether the nonconformance (NC) remains with the assembly or is assigned to the component SFC number.

S: The NC remains with assembly

C: The NC is copied to the component SFC number

M: The NC is moved to the component SFC number

Closure Required

If set to true, this NC must be closed

Collect Required NC Data on NC

Defines when the required NC data must be collected

The data can be collected when the NC is logged (opened) or when the NC is closed during the edit process.

O: The required fields are validated when the NC is opened.

C: The required fields are validated when the NC is closed.

B: The required fields are validated when the NC is opened and closed.

Maximum NC Limit (SFC)

The maximum number of times this NC code can be logged against an SFC number

NC Category

The category for this NC code

Valid values are FAILURE, DEFECT, or REPAIR, but can be customized in a resource bundle.

Used only for reporting purposes

NC Data Type

Controls which data must be collected when nonconforming

Valid values: SIMPLE, COMPONENT, or PCA

NC Priority

The relative priority (importance) of this NC

Used to determine which NC has precedence when logging multiple NCs.

1 is the highest.
