Reconstructing Budget According to Budget Types Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

Use this program if you have changed the budget structure(BS): You have created/deleted a new level or have created, reassigned or deleted individual budget objects. To ensure that the budget values are still consistent after the changes, you must either adjust the budget data manually or start this program. You must always reconstruct the assigned values again afterwards.

In contrast to program Reconstruct Budget ( BPDIST05), in this program the differences are according to budget types and budget subtypes. The differences are determined for each budget type and budget subtype. The budget values of the superior BS elements are recalculated with these differences and adjusted.

Caution Caution

You should not make any changes to the budget structure if budget has already been assigned to the budget objects.

For more information on this, see Changing the Budget Structure .

End of the caution.

Prerequisites

The budget consistency test should be active in order to avoid saving any inconsistent budget values in the system. This is normally the case, unless you have deactivated the budget consistency for the relevant FM area, fiscal year and budget version in the Customizing of Funds Management Government.

Features

You can find more information on how the program works ( ) on the program selection screen.

Caution Caution

If you have saved inconsistent budget data and then changed the budget structure, the budget will remain inconsistent. TheReconstruct Budget Values programdoes not overwrite any budget values, it simply adjusts them so that the assignable value remains the same.

End of the caution.

Note Note

The sender records KBUS and receiver records KBUE of the account assignments that are above the reassigned FM account assignments are not those you would see if the transfer posting were carried out with the new hierarchy. In total, everything is correct in the current budget.

End of the note.
