Use

Instead of having to create a new trip from the very beginning, you can copy the details from an existing trip. SAP recommend that, where possible, you create a new trip with reference to an existing trip. This will facilitate data entry and avoid mistakes being made.

Procedure

To copy a trip:

  1. Select an existing trip and choose Copy. This then copies as much of the already checked data from the existing trip to the new trip as possible.
  2. You are required to enter the start date for the new trip. The trip details that were copied from the existing trip are then displayed.
  3. Check and change the copied data as described in the Creating a Trip section
  4. Choose Save

Result

You have created a new trip by copying an existing trip.
