Function documentation XML Display  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The supplier can use an XML display in some functions of the Supplier Workplace. That means, the supplier can access the currently displayed document as an XML structure and save it locally on a hard disc. The XML structure is displayed in the browser whereby the tag structure (structure elements of the XML) is already available. The user can either print the XML structure locally from the browser or save the XML locally on a hard disk.

Prerequisites

The XML structure bases itself on the structure of the respective SAP IDoc that is normally used for the electronic transfer of data for this document. It is therefore also important for the XML download that the outbound parameters for the Business Connector have been maintained. In Customizing, maintain these parameters under Materials Management → Supplier Workplace → Default Values for Data Transfer, Outbound. See also Data Transfer Using "http Post".

The XML IDoc is prepared according to the settings for the respective business process.
