Allocation Table: Worklists
Use
Worklists must be available so that the generation of follow-on documents can begin. Worklists are then reduced as the follow-on documents are generated. However, you can only start generating follow-on documents for one type of follow-on document at a time.
You therefore cannot generate a worklist containing purchase orders and deliveries in the same run. If both purchase orders and deliveries are to be created for an item, you have to run a worklist twice, once for purchase orders and once for deliveries.
Features
When follow-on documents are generated for an allocation table, the following worklists can be updated:
· Order worklist
This is used for creating vendor purchase orders.
· Warehouse order list
This is used for creating warehouse orders.
· Sales order worklist
The sales order worklist is used to create sales orders.
· Delivery-due list
This is used for creating deliveries from the distribution centers to the sites.
Only one follow-on document can be generated for one delivery phase schedule line. For example, you can have the system generate either a stock transport order or a delivery. If documents were created for entries in a worklist, these entries are deleted and the worklist updated.
When follow-on documents are generated, you can enter criteria that lead to follow-on documents being generated for only those entries meeting the requirement defined by the criterion. You can thus ensure that purchase orders are generated in which all items have the same delivery date or are destined for the same site.
The following criteria are available:
· Generation of vendor purchase orders or warehouse orders
You can use the criteria delivery date, distribution center, site and goods movement type in the distribution center.
· Generation of sales orders
You can use the criteria delivery date, and processing method in the distribution center.
· Generation of deliveries
You can use the criterion goods movement type in the distribution center.
