Defining Form Templates 
The form object Form Template defines the form context (for the data fields relevant for the layout) and the form layout, based on a form interface.
You have provided the required layout technology.

You have created a form interface for one or more applications.

You have called the Form Builder.
More information: Calling Form Builder to Edit Form Objects
Select the form object Form and enter the name of the form template.
Choose the editing function Create or Change.
If you are creating a form template:
Enter the description.
Enter the Form Interface.
Save.
Select the Properties tab page and make sure that the following properties are set correctly.
Layout Technology, for example XFA for layout creation with Adobe LiveCycle Designer
Layout Type Standard Layout for output forms and interactive offline forms

Inbound Processing
Note
If the template is for an interactive offline form (to be completed by users or customers), enter the name of the class that processes the inbound form. This class must implement the interface IF_FP_OFFLINE.

Activate the form template.
