Time Management

Functional Overview

By using Time Management service you can perform time recording functions in any device or platform like Mobile, Collaboration, Social Networks, Groupware Integration and Portals.

Prerequisites

The SAP ERP system must be configured for this user to use Time Management as mentioned in the chapter Settings for Time Management Application in the following path SAP Gateway Configuration Guide Settings for Time Management Application .
The SAP Gateway system needs to be configured as mentioned in the chapter Configurations on the SAP Gateway System (Consumer System) for Time Management in the following path SAP Gateway Configuration Guide Settings for Time Management Application .

Search Capabilities

You can search for an employee’s time recording based on the following fields or parameters’:

From Date - The date from when the time recording details are required
To Date - The date to which the time recording details are required

F4 Help

The Time Management application provides F4 help for the following values:

WBS ID
Order ID
Activity Type
Cost Center

Collections

Collections are objects that hold other objects that are accessed, placed and maintained under certain set of rules. This section lists the collections for Time Management and the rules enabled for each collection.

Collections	Description
ActivityTypeCodeCollection	The Activity type collection provides details of the activity produced by a cost center, and is measured in units of time or quantity
CostCenterCodeCollection	The Cost Center collection provides details of the defined location of cost incurrence. The Cost Center is an organizational unit within a controlling area that represents a defined location of cost incurrence. It identifies the cost center that is debited along with the employee's personnel costs, and that is credited by an activity allocation in the activity allocation master/sender cost center scenario
ReceiverOrderCodeCollection	This collection provides the details of the order number assigned to the employee
WorkBreakdownStructureCodeCollection	The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) ID collection provides details of a concrete task, or a partial task of the employee
TimeRecordingCollection	The Time Recording collection provides the details of the time recording of an employee such as the begin and end of working times or breaks.
