Use

The display control for measurements provides you with a series of tools with which you can check the different aspects of a measurement more closely, for example, the hit list of the programs that use the most runtime, or the activity on the database.

The views of these tools can be chosen individually using the Measurement Display tab. As in the new ABAP Debugger, you can activate, deactivate, and combine display tools as required flexibly on the desktop of the runtime analysis.

Features
  • You can choose the different tools from the tabstrip below the Program Information screen area.

  • All tabs show the standard tool in the standard size. You can adjust every tool individually to suit you.

The default tools for Desktop 1 and Desktop 2 are the following:

    • Profile and Hit Lists for Desktop 1

    • Processing Blocks and Call Hierarchy for Desktop 2

You can adapt and save the layout of Desktop 1 and Desktop 2. It is then available to you every time you start the runtime analysis.

For more information about redesigning a measurement display, see Customizing the Display.

Depending on whether you have executed the measurement by aggregated by call or without aggregation, the following displays are available:

Functions

  • Saving Layouts

You can adapt and save the layout of Desktop 1 and Desktop 2 permanently. For this, choose ( Save Layout).

The layout settings that you have saved appear the next time you start the runtime analysis.

  • Special Selection

If you choose ( Special Selection), a dialog box appears in which you can restrict the number of entries displayed according to different filter options. Two of these options are Without DB Times and Without System Programs. With this you can exclude external times that have elapsed on the DB server or in the system programs.

You can also use a SLAD object set or a SLAD profile to filter measurement entries. See Display Filters on this.

  • Restore Complete View

If you choose ( Restore Whole View), the filters are deleted.
