Use

You use the display control functions of the ABAP Workbench to configure the measurement display interface according to your needs and requirements. If you save your personal layout on the Desktop 1 or Desktop 2 tabs with Start of the navigation path Application Next navigation step Save Layout End of the navigation path sichern, then it is available to you every time you start the runtime analysis.

Features

A measurement display can contain at least one and at most four tools. You can display one tool more than once within the same measurement display. Tools can be resized and swapped across the screen.

Tools Arrangement

  • You can add a new tool to the display by choosing ( New Tool).

    The New Tool dialog box appears.

    The function is available if you have less than four tools displayed.

  • You close the tool by choosing ( Close Tool).

  • You can replace the tool with another by choosing ( Replace Tool).

    The New Tool dialog box appears.

  • You can display a tool in full screen, closing all other tools, by choosing ( Full Screen).

    A tool is always displayed in full as long as the measurement display does not contain other tools.

    The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.

  • You can maximize the selected tool vertically by choosing ( Maximize Vert.).

    If you have four tools displayed, the tool below or above the one that is vertically maximized is closed.

    The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.

  • You can maximize the selected tool horizontally by choosing ( Maximize Hor.).

    If you have four tools displayed, the tool to the left or to the right of the one that is horizontally maximized is closed.

    The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.

  • You can swap tools that are already displayed by choosing ( Swap...).

    • If you have three tools displayed, a dialog appears asking you to Swap Vertically or to Swap Horizontally.

    • If you have three tools displayed, a dialog appears asking you to Swap Vertically, to Swap Horizontally, or Swap Diagonally.

    The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.

Tools Size

Using the Increase and Reduce pushbuttons, you can resize tools by performing the following: You can:

  • Adjust the horizontal separation line.

  • Adjust the vertical separation line.

Saving layout

You can rearrange and resize tools in each of the measurement displays, but you can permanently save only the layout of Desktop 1 and Desktop 2.

For this, choose ( Save Layout). The layout setting you have saved appears the next time you start the runtime analysis.
