Business Context and Use

The Notify of Dock Appointment Cancellation outbound operation sends a notification about the cancellation of a dock appointment to a third-party system, such as an external yard management system that is connected to Site Logistics Processing, to ensure that dock appointment information is up to date.

The operation sends the complete data for the cancelled dock appointment to the third-party system, including the door and the assigned transportation unit appointment.
