Reuse Interval 

Definition

Time segment around a requirements date/time.

A procurement planning heuristic searches for a suitable receipt in the reuse interval. The heuristic may not use receipts whose availability date/time is outside the reuse interval.

Use

The reuse interval is relevant to the following reuse modes:

·        Use suitable receipts

·        Re-explode plan

If there are several suitable receipts in the reuse interval, the system determines the receipt with the reuse strategy.
