Displaying the InC Group in the Product Planning Table 

Use

You can use the product planning table to display and process the current planning situation for all the products in an interchangeability group of the type supersession chain.

Prerequisites

You have made the necessary Settings for Displaying the Interchangeability Groups.

Features

To display the products of an interchangeability group, the system uses the Product View: Periodic. This chart is already displayed on accessing the transaction. If you enter a product in the initial screen that belongs to an interchangeability group, the system displays all the products in this interchangeability group along with the current planning results in this chart where they can be processed.

These products are listed under the Planner in the navigation tree to the left of the chart. The products are sorted according to the sequence you defined in the supersession chain.

Activities

       1.      Access the product planning table.

The initial screen of the product planning table appears.

       2.      Enter the Planning Version.

       3.      Enter a product.

This may be the product to be substituted or a successor product.

       4.      In the Extended Selection field, enter the value Products from an Interchangeability Group.

       5.      Choose .

The system determines all the products belonging to the same interchangeability group as the product you specified and displays this information in the navigation tree and the Product View: Periodic.
