Displaying InC Groups in the Product Planning Table: Settings

To display the product interchangeability groups data relevant for planning in the product planning table in the Product View: Periodic, you have to check or define the following settings in Customizing:

Maintain Extended Selection

In this IMG activity, check that the profile SAP004: Products from an Interchangeability Grp is available.

This value is provided in the F4 help of the Extended Selection field in the initial screen of the product planning table.

Define Layout for Navigation Tree

You make the following settings in this IMG activity:

1. Choose Define Sort Order to check that the sort key SAP014 Sorting for Product Interchangeability is available.

2. Choose Maintain Sort Profile. Create a new sort profile for the interchangeability groups by copying the sort profile SAP001. The sort key SAP014 is already included in profile SAP001.

3. Select the newly created profile and choose Sort Settings.

4. In the selected sort profile, you must make the following settings:

5. Save your entries.

Define Overall Settings for the Product Planning Table

In this IMG activity, you can either create a new master profile or you can extend an already existing one. In the selected master profile in the Sort Profile field enter the sort profile you created for the interchangeability groups. With this setting, the Periodic Product View is contained in the navigation tree of the product planning table.

User Settings in the Product Planning Table

In the user settings in the product planning table, you can load the master profile provided for product interchangeability using the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Load Variant from Customizing function key. Choose the profile and save it as a user variant. In so doing, you define that the periodic product view chart is shown automatically every time you access the product planning table.
