SAP_PP_011 Deletion of Fixed Pegging Relationships 

Use

You can use this heuristic (function module /SAPAPO/HEU_PEG_FIX_DELETE_NEW) to delete fixed pegging relationships.                        

Integration

You can execute the heuristic in the production planning run. The planning object of the heuristic is then the product. Therefore, you can use the selection options, product, location and production planner.   

The indicator With Planning File Entry is not taken into account.

Features

The system selects the fixed pegging relationships on the basis of the selected products and according to the heuristic settings.

·        You can define which fixed pegging relationships should be deleted:

¡        Only automatically fixed pegging relationships

¡        Only manually fixed pegging relationships

¡        Automatic and manually fixed pegging relationships

·        If you want to delete the entire pegging structure of a finished product, starting from a certain independent requirement, you use the indicator Pass On Independent Requirements Information. You can use this indicator to define, for example, that all fixed pegging relationships that belong to pegging structures of planned independent requirements are deleted on multiple levels. In this way, only the pegging structures of sales orders are retained once the deletion heuristic has been executed.

·        In addition, you can set a filter for requirements and a filter for receipts using ATP categories to select the requirements and receipts for which the fixed pegging relationships should be deleted.

You can further limit the requirements selected using the filter with the indicator Only Unconfirmed Requirements.

·        You can use the pegging horizon to define the period within which the system should delete fixed pegging relationships. However, a fixed pegging relationship can only be deleted if the requirement/availability date of the requirement and the receipt element lie within the pegging horizon. If the system is unable to determine a horizon because you have not specified a value, the heuristic cannot be executed for the desired location product. The system issues a message to this effect.                                     

It is not possible to delete fixed pegging relationships between requirements and receipt elements that have the status Subcontracting.
